New 10 Gallon tank

Hello
I haven't been on this forum for a few months which seems like forever

Anyway, My friend just gave me a 10 gllon tank, a filter, and a heater.
i was wondering what kind of fish i can put in there. Tropical Community of course. I was thinking of guppies, long finned danios, or neon tetras?
I really want a variety, but i guess the tank is too small. Im going to start the tank cycling thing today, which takes foreva!
Any ideas?
