Is my tank overstocked??????????

I hv a 29g with a tetra whisper 40 and 20. The tank is very heavily planted. The fish are:
9 cooper rasboras, 5 blood fin tetras, 4 Otos, 8 Cory cats, 2 albino bushynose plecos, 2 sae, 2 young discus that i gt for $17 total so I could not resist. Also I do a 30% water change ever week. I know tht there are a lot of fish but is it over stocked with all the plants and the frequent wc?

Aquarium
Yes, definitely overstocked. Good excuse to upgrade to a bigger tank especially if you want to keep the discus. I'd say you need at least a 75 gallon or look at reducing your stock. The discus would definitely have to go as a 29 gallon is way to small for them.

Waterchanges and filtration cannot make up for a lack of space. It's a lot of fish for a 29, but not problematic IMO and E. Except for the discus - they are not appropriate for the tank, despite the excellent deal you got on them.

125 - BGK, chanchito cichlid, pictus cats, silver dollars, palmas bichir
125 - cichlids (severums, bolivian rams, chocolate), rainbows ( turquoise, red), loaches (angelicus, zebra, kuhli and horseface), plecos (BN, RL and clown), denison barbs, tiretrack eel, pearl gouramis, betta
90 - Congo tetras, african knife, upside down cats, spotted ctenopoma, kribensis, delhezzi bichir
2.5 - betta

I will get rid of the discus if they gt to the big size that some do. I hv seen some that were the size of a large plate. But I hv also seen some that were nt to big and they were nt stunted. So if they gt to the larger size I will gt rid of them. But I gt them for a local chain store so I don't think tht they will get that big.
