Exclamation my neon tetra are getting bullied

i bought 4 neon tetras and 2 oddysa or oddyses lol i dont know today.so when is was watching them closely i saw my red eyed tetra chasing my poor neon tetra .i asked the salesman in my pet shop and he told it woudnt be a problem cause i was buying them in groups .but when i put them in my aquarium my red tetra chased them.i after a while i saw all of them hiding,so i decided to take the tetras out and put them in a bowl.but god their fast,i could only catch one .after that the teras got together and the tetra seems disinterested . i think their okay, what is your advice and how do i catch the red eye tetra(im just worried about those neon tetra)

What size tank?

I find it far easier to catch fish when there's no water in the tank

Maybe add more plant or decor so they have hiding places and to keep themselves amused?? I found that helped alot in my betta tank.

Shoaling fish, which all tetra are, should be in groups, no less than six is usually suggested, but the more the better both for the fish themselves and to avoid trouble with other fish in the tank. You haven't mentioned the tank size, but it wold be good to increase the neon tetra to 7 or more, and if you keep the Red Eye Tetra it too needs 6 or more. The Odessa Barb is also mentioned, this too is a shoaling fish requiring a group of six or more--again, depending on tank size.
