Moving clawed frogs into new tank

Well, the tank is cycled and ready for our not-so-little friends. Soooo, since bagging them LFS style is not an option due to their size, any suggestions on acclimating them? Trying to float them in a rubbermaid container or something would probably result in them jumping out. Do you think it's safe to use drip-acclimation and put a cover on the container, at least partially?

I would do the drip acclimation. Get a decently sized bucket or tub that comes with a plastic lid that can be cut/drilled. Make a hole that the tubing from the dripper can get it, and make tiny air holes. Maybe even a small outlet for a heater if it gets too cold.

Put them in a 5g bucket. Use the one you use for water changes.Fill it about 1/4 full amd start adding water from the new tank a few cups at a time untill you are about 50/50. Then I'd move the frogs to their new home.

Drip systems a a bother and troublesome. Nice to brag about doing, but in reality, not worth the effort in most cases. Most people that recommend them have never, truly, done the process the correct way. So, they have no idea what they are talking about.

I do use the drip system on some, very few, of the wild caught SA soft water fish I get. The system, I use utilizes a high volume air pump to "pump" the water to the acclimation tank. The hardware is home made and looks like something out of prehistoric times. But it works. So, nix the drip system.

I stuck them and some of the tank water into the water change bucket, then set up the airline so it was a relatively slow water flow cuz I decided to not have the patience for it to drip all night. Anyways, it took about 30-45 mins to fill the bucket far enough up that I felt comfortable moving then and then got them into the tank (used my hands cuz I figured their claws in a net would be a disaster). They seem to be doing good so far, I'll post pics tomorrow. Thanks Cody and herefishy! Really appreciate it :)
