I'm considering getting a small juvenile Oscar, about 2" in size.
He would go in my 75 gallon tank with two kissing gouramis (currently 4" each) and my senegal bichir (currently about 5"). I would move the tetras and dwarf gouramis back to my feeder tank with my few guppies and Cory cats, which I was planning to do anyway as the bichir grows.
I've been reading up a lot on Oscars and I realize they get to be around a foot long.

Does this sound like a good setup for an Oscar? Any tips on care or inside info on Oscars would be greatly appreciated!

All those fish grow pretty large and will overstock that tank. Oscars grow very fast and they are extremely messy fish. Mine grew from about 2" to about 12" in about 9 months. The Oscar and the bichir would probably be ok as a final stock for that tank.

Ok... What size tank would you recommend to keep the Oscar, bichir, and two kissing gouramis in permanently?

I rehomed the two kissing gouramis and got the Oscar. Thanks!

I would also set up a 10 gallon tank for for feeder guppies and the goldfish.

I have guppies for breeding in my 60 gallon. I also recently set up a shrimp tank to breed cherry shrimp, as well as a breeding tank for Blackworms.
