Not unless you have a huge tank. They'll fight constantly otherwise and may kill each other.

Large tank with other fish and LOTs of hiding places. Ive successfully kept them together, as long as there are lots of other fish, a big tank and lots of hiding places. Ive kept them in a 29 gallon tank with not so much as a look at eachother.

On rare occaisions you might get bettas that are pretty easygoing and aren't as aggressive and if you have them in a large tank with lots of other fish and hiding places, like Guppy Girl says, it could work.
