I've checked the parameters-
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate- trace (more than 0, but less than the lowest number.)
PH- Not sure, but I know it's between 6.9 and 7.4.
This one's acting very timid- I had a trio before, and they were very active- the male built a bubble nest on the second day, and tried to spawn repeatedly even though they were only fed flake food. (I shipped them, and they spawned the day they arrived.)
This male's timid, and hiding under a piece of driftwood. He darts to the other side of the tank every time there's movement, and lately, doesn't seem to be eating. I even fed him mosquito larvae, and most of them are still in the tank.
There is a bright orange platy fry (or two, or three. Don't see them often so it could be more than one.) less than 1/2 (closer to 1/4) inch long- could the little guy be stressing him out?
Tank (20 gallon long) is decorated with a LOT of driftwood, and several crypts, swords, lucky bamboo (emersed) and dwarf sag. I put some plastic plants in to float thinking he needed more cover, but he still just hides. Anyone have any ideas?
