I want around medium sized cats a bit smaller and a bit larger just to give me a variety
id love to have a big mix of corys and a few pictus cats 2 or 3, i already have a gold pleco,
i picked up some things from work yesterday so i have black river sand , keyhole rocks and just a bunch of rocks with holes in them, and a nice peice of driftwood that has had the tannin taken out
There was a very good article by Mark Denaro in the April 2012 TFH showing how to set up two different catfish biotopes from the Amazon. One features corys, the other pleco. I could scan the 3 pages if you can't get a copy.

Pictus are best in a group of 5, and attaining 5 inches they need space. Corys, the pleco, perhaps a Whiptail or two... could be quite nice.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Byron I need a favour, jfengler and I are writing a book together based on aquariums. It is going to be packed full of information and I was wondering if we have your consent to use some of your information as it is very good. If so and if the book ever gets published you will be in the acknowledgements and I was going to ask you to read through it at the end to make sure all of the information is good. I am aiming it at beginners but I have information in there for skilled aquarium keepers.
