looking for spot light

i just wanted ideas to consider when looking for one or two new fish for my 33

i have 6 pristella tetras (the disappearing ones)
13 neons
5 corys
and a plec to be rehomed

i was thinking gouramis, but i dont kno how the tetras will act, if they will be nippy or not, they havent really been to the neons or cories, but the cories stay on the bottom and they are more upper middle. they mostly stay together, and th neons too so idk

Some gouramis will get large enough to make a meal of the neons. Dwarf gouramis may be a solution. The sunset or red gouramis may be a viable choice, they remain small. The pristellas may become nippy if not kept in sufficient numbers to keep them happy.

Honey gourami are awesome too! They stay even smaller than dwarfs and are even less aggressive :)

hm, its hard to keep the pristellas in a big happy family, one disappears every so often

ive always liked honey gouramis, but i like the patterns on the opaline. do u think those would be too big? maybe a pearl or two?

Moonlights and Platinum gouramis are among my favorites. Instead of giving you answers, we seem to be adding to your list. lol
