Kissing Fish aggression

I have two pink kissing fish.
One is pretty much a gentle giant and the other is a nightmare from hell (only at feeding time).

Is aggression more common in males or femails.
I notice the fish hasn't killed any other fish in my tank but it likes to pick fights with my rubber lip pleco during feeding time. And any time with my large angel fish. I am not to worried since the angel fish and pleco can hold their terf with the kissing fish. Most of the time it back fires on the kissing fish and he gets pinned down or chased down. Is there a way I can seperate the fish from the rest during feeding? And the fight with the angel fish isnt to serious. Usually the kissing fish just does a few of his jaw things at the angel and the angel chases it away.

But I am worried when the kissing fish gets bigger. Hell it even chases the other one around alot.

None have gotten hurt yet.

I assume your fish is the Kissing Gourami, pink form. You can read about it in our profiles, just click on the shaded name to see the profile. As noted therein, it will attain 12 inches and is, or can be, a nasty fellow. Unless you have, or intend to get, a large aquarium (4-feet plus) for this fish, I would consider removing him. It is certainly not a compatible species with angels, and the latter may be the loser (death).

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Use a divider to separate them temporarily during feeding time.
