I know that this is very little to go by but I live far away from the nearest lfs and it would really help to know what fish this is. It was a type of catfish, about 3-4" long with very long whiskers that curved back into its body and it was being housed (or supposed to be but I didn't see any) columbian sharks. It was definately not a columnbian shark though. thanks for trying
Definitely sounds like a Pimelodid species to me as well. Pictus Catfish would be the most common, but if you do a google images search for "Pimelodus" you'll come up with lots of different possibilities.
