I guess it's good

Ok so the babies in the tank have been alive for about 3 weeks now I think. None of them have died. So can I conclude that my water quality is in perfect condition?

Because aren't babies super sensitive to water quality?

I've had one guppy die and one female swordfish die but the rest of the fish are doing great.

I do have one Platy fish that the person at Petco thought it was a female Swordfish. That was a random thing to say but yeahhh.....I just thought you guys should know.

I'm thinking about getting Some Neon Tetras because I love the look and colors of those little guys.

I have a 20 gallon tank with Guppies, swordtails, platys, a snail, Otos, Corys, and an Birchir.

I would thinking living fry are a good sign... but so are liquid test kits.

I love neons too, hence the name, but they are really an awful lot of trouble. Rarely do I hear of people who don't lose them... or like me, they are just chronically sick. They are pretty fish... but not when they are constantly patchy - colored, bulging, swimming incorrectly, have things and fungus hanging off of them, and you're so worried all the time you spend most of it, not watching them behave normally, but counting and recounting to make sure you haven't lost any! And pressing your nose up to the glass, wondering if those large white patches are shrinking or not...

Really honestly, I wish I had gone with my gut instinct and got White Cloud Minnows instead...

Still searching for answers.

You really should get a liquid test kit and test regularly so you can address problems BEFORE they would kill any fish. I would hate to wake up to disaster one day because I assumed my water quality was great.
