I finally "out-smarted" my Pleco (pics)

If you've read my posts i was having a problem with my huge Pleco tearing up my live plants and scattering the sand every night (which was making my tank cloudy even though i rinsed this sand literall for days before adding it to the tank) so i went back to LFS and got some light brown colored gravel and put this on top of my sand.

I then put in a "hiding" log and moved all my plants from out of the corners of the tank (as pleco likes to dig in the corners)

Now due to the colored gravel ALL my fish look bright with colors! The pleo is happy with his new log and is no longer digging up my plants/sand........ I have to say i really like the way this tank came out.

Sounds like a win, win situation. You like the way your tank lokks, its not getting tore up. And the Pleco is happy with his new log!!
