I feel so bad!!!
I have a small school of three cherry barbs, and one of them ate a bit much one day.... from that he got minor bloat, but he still got along just fine. when I sepperated him into his own tank to care for the bloat he just sat at the bottom of the tank doing nothing, so i put him back in my large tank figuring he would be just fine...... all was good for about two months (although he was still rather large) and last night after feeding time i walked in to look at the tank and I was horrified!!!!!!!! I saw that his stomache had BURST! and to make matters worse my betta was now eating what had come out of his stomache!!! I had trouble sleeping last night because of what I had done to the poor little guy... Anway let this be a lesson to all that a bloated fish needs IMMIDIATE care wheather they are a schooling fish or not...
