I did not lose a fish but I lost one of the albino frogs. I looked into the aquarium to feed them and I noticed he had some red on the tip of his face..then I noticed how he was stuck. SOME HOW i can't understand how he did because it's like..almost impossible but the fake plant he some how got into a leaf part that wrapped around another leaf and he got stuck. Now I feel horrible because I was here all day and I did not look into the tank to see this. In my head now I feel like sh!t because while I'm doing stuff in the room, he was slowly dying and I could have prevented it! :( He was def dead. Stiff and eyes gone. I'm not getting any more fish or anything for the tank. I'm done with expanding. :(

I'm so sorry for your lost froggie. I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes we can only do so much, though. I have been neglectful and sometimes just ignorant and it has sometimes ended up fatal for a fish or a few. I'm hoping that I am learning from all this. Maybe next time you have frogs you can have live plants so they don't get stuck? I don't know anything about frogs so I can't really say much on that topic.

My experiences with frogs has not been good. For all the frogs I have kept, they all seemed healthy until they died. The only lead I had in their deaths was that I never saw them eat anything. Have your frogs been eating?

I'm so sorry to hear about this - But don't blame yourself, if this one had a suicidal agenda for today, he'd have done it with or without your help.
One of mine had once wedged his tiny FOOT into this LITTLE crack on the filter, even thou I managed to get him out again...he died, I assume a broken leg or so....

But don't let that get you down please!!! Look I'm having serious troubles in my new 55g and I also never had troubles in the past, now I have sick & dead fish, algae outbreak from hell...so if YOU are quitten then I should quit battling it too then shouldn't i!?

Don't do it *hugs*
