How much to feed my african dwarf frog

Hey guys,

I recently received an African Dwarf frog, and hes too small to be eating bloodworms. So I've been feeding him brine shrimp (frozen), but I am unsure as to how often to feed him. Some websites say once ever 2/3 days, whereas others say once a day. I have been feeding him every other day, about four or five shrimp, but he is looking rather skinny. Maybe it's just how these frogs usually look? Do I need to be feeding him every day?

Thanks in advance.

Hi . I would like to piggy back this, and ask : will ADF eat assassin snails? I have a plethora in a 45 gal, and understand that ADF are basically blind and dopey - but I also just think I have so many assassin snails that there's literally no way a frog wouldn't bump into them throughout the day, and be able to have a meal if so desired.

I also have tons of cherry shrimp in the same aquarium (the aquarium is FOR the cherries) - & while I know the frog would like to eat them too, I don't think they would be quick enough to get too many, these shrimp are all healthy and happy: not easily caught by something blind. Lol.

At any rate, thoughts? The only fish I. The tank are some cardinal tetra, some Cory, 2 Siamese, and half dozen killifish clowns.

Thanks all.
