I say something this every time clown loaches come up, but Striped Loaches, Angelicus Loaches, Queen Loaches, Yoyo Loaches, Kuhli Loaches, Myer's Loaches, and Checkerboard Sand Loaches will all work. The first four are nearly as pretty and every bit as engaging as Clowns. A couple of batik loaches might work (they'll need their own territories). I'm dying to try tiger barbs and skunk loaches, but most people will tell you skunk loaches are straight from hell.
