Holiday time

In a couple of weeks I will be going on a holiday and I want to know how long I can leave my fish without food. I keep Discus and africans. The Discus are 2in in diameter. I have read fish can last two weeks, any suggestions?

Your African cichlids will be fine without food for two weeks however your Discus can have a problem. They are only juveniles and will need plenty of foods in order to properly grow. Any chance of investing an automatic feeder or have an experienced fellow aquarist do the sitting?

yeah I thought the Discus might be a problem. Are those automatic feeders reliabl?

I've never tried them but Eheim and Sera do have a good reputation so it may be worth investing either of these company's feeder.
