Hey guys. Ive made this profile for my girlfriend so she can chat to you guys more in the future for ideas and any help you may be able to give her as she.. we .. are both extremly new to the fish scene.

Ive bought her a small 8L tank which came with 3 stage filter and a heater.
We were told to
- set the heater at 24degrees.
-wash/rinse everything. (Just double checked this with my girlfriend... she didnt wash/rinse the tank😕)
-let the fish sit in water in the bags for 15 before adding them to the tank.
-we used a water purifier to purify any tap water we added. (Before adding the fish)

We let the tank cycle but not for as long as we probably should.. probably only 2hours. As the fish and tank were all sold to us at once and it was getting late.
We have the filter set on low..

We have:
1 siamese fighter fish
2 serpae tetras
4 tetra neons
1 sucking catfish thing who every now and then goes a little mental.. reeeeaaally mental!! then back to the corner.

The siamese chills around the right hand side but does cruise around a little.. (ALOT compared to any of the others) he goes inside the ship everynow and then aswell.

ALL the others pretty much stay in the rear left hand corner majority of the time and sometimes the siamese hangs out over there for a while too.. what is going on??? Please help... tanks looks empty...

Could it just be that they are still unsure about their new environment?? The fish have only been in there about 24hours. Besides the neon tetras which have only been in for about 2 hours..

The heater is in the front right corner and the filter emptys water just next to it.
I will try and attach a photo. Although right now they are all starting to get around a little .. the sucker is still going crazy. Like it has issues..

Hi there. Okay, your tank isn't cycled, and ammonia is likely to spike.
Please fill out this help form so we understand the whole situation.

And please attach an image too, click Reply, then Go Advanced, then select the paperclip icon and upload image. TY : )

If you haven't already get Prime and use 2 drops per gallon to rid any ammonia, and you need the 5 in 1 test strips at the very least, need to test regularly.
