I have kept goldfish in an outside pond and they breed in early spring as soon as the water starts to warm up some. They would do it every year around the same time but i never tried to save any of the eggs and since the pond was pretty bare the were always eaten. So I'm no expert in breeding them lol. But I'm guessing to get them to do this in an aquarium setting you would have to mimic those conditions. hope this might help some!
