Help with acclimating new Cories?

Hi and Happy New Year!

I just purchased 4 new Cories....I have been floating the bag in my tank for about 1 1/2 hrs slowly adding my tank water to acclimate them to my PH which is around 7.2 ish. Their PH was around 6.8.....I just tested their PH and it seems close to mine maybe even a little higher? When is it safe to add them to my tank?

I would say now, if you haven't already. Also one hr and 30 min, seems too long from my knowledge. Most people do 15-20 min, 30 mins or a hr if it was a long trip. Also if you mind me asking, what size tank is this? Ok, last thing, cories do best in schools of atleast six, so adding two more would be good.

55 gallon planted tank, starting over!!!( looking crappy, needs a major rescape)

Okay, just checking. Also, did you add any water conditioner? Its good to add to your tank when adding new fish.
