Hello Moonstra- Welcome to the forum! The first thing I notice is that you have only one lonely cory. Cories prefer (and need) to be kept in a shoal, with the absolute minimum being 3, IMHO. How large are your angels? I've not kept gouramis or angels so not sure on the compatability requirements of those fish. How long has your tank been set up? Do you have any pics you can share? We love pics.

Oops..I just noticed that you did post your tank's pic!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I second kymmie's suggestion on the corys, they are very social fish and kept individually can develop stress-related health problems. They are very playful together, depending a bit on species, some more than others. But definitely get 2 more, same species if you like it but they do mix well. Need to socialize though.

Have fun,

Byron.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I just checked out your aquarium pics. - I love the plant you have on the right. Very prett tank.

You've got fish in your tank that I don't have experience with so I'll let someone else answer your question.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

I just got back from Petco and didn't see anything like that. I even rummaged through a new-shipment box that didn't make it on the shelves yet. I upgraded two of my bettas to bigger tanks and wanted to switch out some decs. as well. I did find a pretty cool castle with great hiding spots for one of my boys tho.

I have to admit that I didn't think to check out the reptile section.

I also talked a mom out of getting a crappy teeny tiny plastic thing that was divided for two bettas by telling her that she'd have to change the water every day if she went with something that small.

I think my morning coffee cup has more capacity than one side of that contraption.

****sigh****
