Can anyone tell me anything about these fish? I have the chance to buy 3 of them, but I don't want to place them in my tank if they are to aggressive or if my fish will not like them.
I have Bala Shark, Red Tail Black Shark, Gouramis, Mollies, Tetras and silver dollars in there. Along with some mystery snails.
I strongly advise you not to buy them. Puffers require a species-only tank and will almost definitely nip to death anything else in the tank regardles of size. They also require bracksih cnditions, which your other fish would not tolerate.
They are however a lovely fish. If you were able to set up a tank for them and them only they could be great fun. Remember however that they can grow to 6" long so depending on how many you were going to kep, that could end up quite a large tank.
I would stay away from these unless u plan to start a new tank just for them. They eat inverts so your snails are in danger. They are also agressive so in no time they will make a meal of your small mollies, tetras and silver dollars. They have quite the personality tho and they love to play so if you are interested make a species tank just for them
ok thanks. I was just notified they were taken. So thats always a plus. I'm glad I checked with you all first. Don't want anything to happen to my babies. =)
