Okay so I have this pond with 4 comets, 2 shubunkins and every time I get anywhere close they run and hide into they're cave :( is there any way to attract them to me so I can feed them or watch them without peeping from a 10 foot radius -_- I just want them to get used to me or get excited like my cichlids whenever I walk by they're tank :D is there anyway for them to likez me?

Food helps! My koi were shy for years, but they have eventually learned that I mean food and will come beg for food when they see me. Your goldfish are reacting how they would to any normal large object suddenly moving on the banks. What other cover do you have for your fish? Floating plants? Adding more cover will actually make fish more confident and social with humans.
