I have two Oranda Goldfish and one of them has trouble staying down (he keeps floating back up to the surface and sometimes float upside down). I read up on it and it says that it is swimbladder problems. I've taken him out a lot of time and placed him in a shallow tank with epsom salt for a few days to relieve the pressure and fed him peas. He got better so I put him back but it seems to keep happening. Can this problem be solved permanently?? Also, my other goldfish has a small lump sticking out of its side. It looks like a small gravel under his scale. And a white thing was on the surface of the lump. I've placed him in a small tank with salt. Today the white stuff seems to have gone away but the lump remains. He seems to just hang on the bottom and he doesn't really move his fin on the side of the lump. BOTH look alittle bloated, but I'm now feeding them peas to help with digestion. Any ideas, ADVICE, etc. to help him get better?? I have lost a few in the past year to dropsy I don't want to lose anymore. :BIGsad:
