fire eel not eating

purchased a fire eel about 3 months ago. I have never seen the fish actually eat. Quarnintened the fish to a tank by himself over a week ago. I have tried feeding krill, bloodworms and flakes to no avial.
anyone have any suggestions?

You could try small earthworms, red worms, or black worms. Sometimes moving food is more appealing.

I hope this helps was perusing the forums and found yours, while researching for fish in my aquarium I found this. Not sure if it will help or not, but good luck with your eel!
