Feeding Peas to Constipated Fish

So I think my gourami may have a swim bladder issue. I am going to start by letting him fast. But if I decide to give him bit of smashed peas, what if my other fish eat it? Will there be no effect on them or can they get loose stool? I have never had a sick fish before (at least nothing obvious), so this is a new experience for me. I am STRESSED OUT!

I would fast him for a few days then feed him some daphnia instead of a pea. It's more healthy and natural.
