Emperor tetras chasing

Is it normal for emperor tetras to chase each other? Like 2 of the 6 I have are never separated they swim all over the tank really fast and it looks mean but theres no torn fins or any kind of marks. They all are pretty goofy so I dont think much into it but is it normal?

either 2 males fighting over a female or creating a pecking order those are my gueses
