I have a couple fish that are kinda having a hard time adjusting to the switch but for the most part they all are doing fine :) I should be getting a new filter (Rena xp3) for my 75gal soon.. how long should I run it with the old filter (whisper 30-60) I have now to get it cycled and I can move the old filter to a new tank?

So everything seemed fine all my fish were active and happy after this big issue... but now I have found that my fish have been covered in a slime this has happened in the past couple days... I am guessing its Flexibacter. My water tests out fine I think its from when my tank broke and the water temp dropped drastically... any advice on this situation?
