Danios Nipping my Angels!

Getting more than mad about this, I was told Danios were peaceful fish!? What do I do...my quarantine tank is being used by the barbs, should I throw the Danios in there too?

What species of daino? How many of them?

6x Zebra Danio and if you put them in the 10 gl with 6x barbs that's a very crowded tank. The danios might not have enough swimming room to avoid the barbs if they decide to start nipping at them. If keeping the angels are what you want to focus on maybe the barbs & danios need to be exchanged for something else that will live peacefully with your angels.

If it were me (and it's not) I'd exchange the barbs & danios and get a herd of loaches (not clowns, a 55 won't be large enough for them in the long run).
I'd get 5 to 7 of either b. straita, b. almorhae or b. kubotai.

So say I went to petsmart...they would take my Danios? They are perfectly healthy...Do you think I would get any money for them?

Maybe you could try getting more of them? My danios have never bugged anyone but themselves, but in a big 55g like that maybe they might start harassing other fish if they get separated from their buddies. More danios would mean it's more likely that there's always another danio in sight.

Alternately, you could return them and get some rummynose tetras. Rummynose tetras are mid-level swimmers that school tightly and are tried and true tankmates for angels.
