Really difficult to say. They look like peppered corys.

I have peppers and they look nothing like them. Looks sort of like my juliis but darker and different.

They look pretty close to Sterbai or a False Juli

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Is that possible? I got them at petco, they were listed as peppered but there was a bunch of different types in the tank.

Who knows. I've got albinos, bronzes, and peppered in my tank but the pet stores never know what to call any of them. At least the ones around here don't.

Hopefully someone who's more cory savvy will stop by soon.
