that entirely depends on the stock level... you need something to reed CO2 saturation and or O2 levels.
1) water acidification is a REAL issue... don't believe the hype that you can pump in as much as you want.
2) water agitation will gas off CO2 so more, agitation the higher your pH but the less effective your reactor will be.
3) it is a delicate job playing GOD in your tank... it takes time, tuning and knowledge. As your plants absorb CO2 they will also need nutrients (food), getting the correct balance is not the easiest of tasks.
