Fair enough Julie, they do seem happy little fish in the 2.5g, always bobbing about and coming up for food when i put it in, but everythings happier in a bigger tank!
I currently have a 2.5g, 10g, and a 35g. The fish in the 10 really need to move into the 35 soon, and it sounds like the 2.5 would appreciate the 10. Also the 35ers need a bigger tank soon (Angels!)
I am horribly poor right now, but having shouted at the tax man for about 2 months i am hopefully due a rebate at the end of the month.
I will be buying a bigger tank with this windfall (at least a 55g, but as big as i can afford, Yay!) so will be having a general shift up. (man that's gonna be a fun day!
As an alternative i could put the Cories in my 35g, with a plec (6"), 2 yoyo's, a couple of Dwarf Gouramis, 4 mollies, 1 gold ancistrus and 2 Kribs. Will they be ok as by far the smallest fish in the tank? I hear that Yoyo's can be particularly aggressive towards other bottom dwellers (although they leave everything else in the tank alone...)
Sorry for the long post, but i'm still pondering what to do.
Oh, and what sort/how many shrimp would work in a 2.5g?
