Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

Ok, so now one of my male MM Platies seemed to have developed a fascination for my bubble curtain. For 3 days now all he does is swim / Float in the curtain. I mean sure, it looks like fun and I would proberbly do the same, but surely there must be more to it that that. If I turn the cutain off, her swims away and does other stuff but if I turn it on again he goes straight back there. The only time he leaves the bubbles is at feeding time. He goes and eats and then goes straight back to the bubbles.

Is this something I should be worried about?

Maybe it's not getting enough oxygen, but then again maybe it's just having fun :)

Just keep an eye on it.

I got a little worried that he moght be ill, so I moved him to a medium sized filtered Quarentine fish bowl...now he looks all depressed. Still eating and swimming around, but I think he misses his bubbles...really odd

yeah. he's just playing.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

I was worried about this for awhile to. The first week or so I had my school of neons they did this frequently. I had always figured they were just playing. They don't do it anymore but from time to time I see it. I'm pretty confident they're just playing.
