Question Blue Goramis

Yesturday, i got 1 new blue garomi with some new tiger barbs. they seem to be getting along fine, but thats not what i'm concerned about. I'm wonder ing how to tell if its a boy or a girl. -NoaDon12-

If this is a standard blue gourami you can usually tell pretty easy by looking at the dorsal fin (fin on top of the fish). A male standard gourami will have a longer more pointed dorsal fin than a female. In the female fish it is shorter and rounded at the back end.

You may need to wait until the fish grows a little older before you can tell. Very young gouramis can be difficult to sex. Also, females tend to grow slightly larger than males.
