Hey guys, I hope this is where i should post this. I'm usually only on bettafish.com. I have a white male VT Betta who is, from what I can tell, completely blind. It's becoming harder and harder to get him to eat. It has to be right in front of his nose before he can find it. But I'm having a hard time getting him to come to the surface. I have tried everything I could think of. Any suggestions??
If you give it time and try working with the fish, they can overcome the feeding problem. I have an angelfish with a vision/eatting problem. I've started trying Byron's idea of tapping the glass and it works! She comes right to the area that I tap...unfortunately though, the other fish now want to eat from my hand too so it kind of defeats the purpose but I make sure she gets a decent amount into her each day. Good luck!
