Question Black Kuhli Loaches, Snails... and Food.

I have 7 Black Kuhli Loaches in a 30 gallon long for a week now.

The tank also has 30+ Ramshorn Snails in the tank.

I don't mind the snails at all, because I see them being beneficial to the tank.

I'm just concerned if the Loaches are eating or not.

I usually drop 2 small bottom feeder wafers, and 3 shrimp pellets in the evenings, when I see the loaches being very active.

In the morning, I still see them on the sand surrounded by the snails.

I tried mixing it up a little bit by adding some thawed frozen bloodworms with the wafer and pellet. I don't see the bloodworms, but I still see the wafer and pellets.

From what I've read, bloodworms are more of a treat for them, so I don't want to feed it to them more than once or twice a week.

Any suggestions on feeding?

I suspect your loaches are getting what they need, but you can put driftwood in your tank, and drop a few pieces of sinking pellets under the wood. They are great at getting food in "difficult" places, and the snails may have more trouble getting food under something that a loach can fit in. Petstores most often sell pieces of malaysian drift wood.
