betta has a new name

so as some of you already know i rescued a betta from walmart yesterday (actually i was looking to get one anyways and i figured he was in hell so i bought his soul back from the devil) and i named him fred, first name that came to mind. The reason i got this guy was so i could move my tropical community tank out of my sons room into our dining room so everyone can enjoy it but also let him still have a tank inhis room...anyways....tonight before bed i was telling justin (my son, he's 4 by the way) that i had named him Fred...he looked at me like i was crazy and flat out told me that was a stupid name. So i asked him what he would like to name the fish and said "Love" wheni asked him why he told me "because he's the color of my heart and i love him".....i just thought it was so adorable and that i would share....

he LOVES both of the aquariums.....he sits and watches them for hours...

we are a VERY pet loving family....we just started fish keeping and it is something both myself and boyfriend are really enjoying....soon our house wont be our house anymore it will be theirs..lol

my 20 month old son loves all my aquariums and fish. hes always watching them and waving hi and saying, "look pretty fish" lol

i know for me it is VERY relaxing so i can imagine how it is to a young child....he could be having the worst temper tantrum and get a glimps of the aquarium and just stop and watch it
