Agreed on everything said in the last two posts. Dwarf puffers can be finicky eaters so when shopping for them I like to be sure that they'll at least accept frozen foods (some will only eat live) and when asking one fish store employee what they had been feeding theirs, he replied "the fins of other fish, mostly." That said, I did successfully keep a trio of dwarf puffers with tiger barbs and a Clown Pleco (all species completely ignored one another) but was prepared to move them if any problems occurred, which thankfully they did not. However, this experience seems to be the exception rather than the rule as most Dwarf Puffer keepers report aggressive fin nipping of just about any other fish kept with them.
