I, personally, would never subject an angel(s) to being housed with tiger barbs, no matter what size the tank was.

I would not house an Angelfish with gouramis, tiger barbs,or silver dollars. It could be done, but in my view,,you would need a minimum of 125 gal tank. Tiger barbs are fin nippers and do best in groups of twelve or more to curb the fin nipping. Gouramis can be agressive (males) and territorial. And silver dollars grow to the size of baseballs or larger and would I fear,, snatch the lions share of food along with tiger barbs before Angel fish could get to it. Just my opinion.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

I was thinking along the lines of kymmie and 1077, but I didn't want to throw one of those "they won't work with tiger barbs....but I don't know" lines haha

I agree with former posts. The only fish in your list I would put with angels are the black neons. Angelfish are fairly sedate fish, not active swimmers, and having any fish that races around the tank in with them, regardless of tank or fgish size, will make them insecure and as I've said many times, that causes stress which brings on disease. While Angels are not equal to discus, they do both share the need for a quite environment. And also warmth; more active fish generally come from cooler waters than sedate fish like angels and discus. Good companions would be many of the shoaling characins (cardinals, loreto, metae, hatchetfish, ...) but avoid the more active tetras.

Also, and importantly, angelfish like company (their own species). I would not keep them individually, as this is subjecting the fish to something un-natural and...you guessed it, more stress.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business.
