I'd say the Bumble Bee Catfish. They move like a shark and you can feed them table scraps. They love roast beef.

I agree with you! At this one restaurant I go to they have a gigantic pond with a bridge you have to walk across to get inside and inside the pond there's beautiful koi.

55 gallon planted tank, starting over!!!( looking crappy, needs a major rescape)

They're majestic, aren't they?

Actually I like to think of fish in tiers. Teir 1 fish are my favorites, and I will do backflips to keep them (koi, goldfish, betta, Pangio loaches). Tier 2 fish are pretty freaking awesome, and I'll keep them if water parameters/space allow (cardinal tetra, endler's, gourami, blind cave tetra, mountain redbelly dace). Tier 3 are neat, and I'd keep them if nothing else fits there (a lot of fish fall here). The tier 4 fish are the ones I have almost no desire to keep.

But those are just the fish I can have as pets. I also love a ton more fish that I can't keep (or it would be very difficult/expensive) like sturgeon, atlantic cod, bluefin tuna, brook trout, coelacanths, and the list goes on.

ever since I first started keeping fish, back in the olden days... (early 1970s) my favorite fish have always been the corydoras. All of them. I have had other species of fish, of course, and there have occasionally been individual specimens here and there that have developed quite a personality, but over all- hands down, my cories are my answer.
