All fish change colors. What size is your tank and what are your fish? Bloodfins can nip but shouldn't harass the blue rams to the extent of beating them up. Firemouths can dig.

I have 20 gl with two firemouths [the biggest one is about 3 inches I might have to get rid of them] 2 pearl gouramis 2 blood fins 1 ram[the female ram died] a feather fined synodontis [I know he will get to big he is only like a inch now] and a Kuhli Loach . this is really only a test to see if the tank is ready for more expensive fish and plants
