55 gallon cycling

Alright I plan on getting my 55 gallon tomorrow. question is do I do the fishless cycle with or without plants. I plan on it having plants, wood, and rocks in it do I need to have everything in it when I start the fishless cycling?

You don't need to have everything in there when you start, but it's perfectly safe to have plants and decor in the tank during the cycling process.

i agree with sj45...............do everything to your tank as its cycling............putting plants and decor in now will make your life much easier when its done cycling and its time for fish...........remember to add a few fish at a time over a time period....Dont put 20 fish in all at once, or you could create a mini spike in ammonia.....Good Luck!
