29g with 10g under

I originally built this to be a temporary stand till I got my 75g up and running but wife said no no no , can you make it look nicer ? Yes Dear ! We have a baby due at the end of January so she is right about probably going to take longer than I hoped to do the 75g build. Anyway this stand came out great and I was able to come close to matching our flooring. I'm sure I overbuilt it but have no worries of it failing. The framework is built with treated lumber and outdoor deck screws, will never rot or loose its integrity. All material was around $25. I did make a stool looking thing that is flush with the bottom of 10g to pull it out onto for ease of maintenance.

That's beautiful. Wish I could work with wood like that. The 4x4 posts look extremely strong ... way more than enough. You know, if I could build stands like that I might think about early retirment and just sell tank stands! Your finished result looks better than most stands I've seen in stores, honestly... and for under 25$ ? AMAZING!

Oh, and congrats on expecting a child. My youngest is 15 now and I'm really starting to miss having babies around...at least grandchldren are not far off!
Good luck with everything
