I always/only use malaysian driftwood in my tanks, but i soak it for a few days first to help with the tanin colored water effect.

No, makes me feel better long term, knowing that the fishes can live out their lives in much improved conditions.
Made the employee aware of fishes needs,they chose instead to ignore.
I agree with your reasoning but in my expierience, It doesn't work out that way.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.
