hello and welcome.
the common plec i would take back to the store,he'll grow Huge, and
it doesn't seem to take them long either.
has the gourami got open wounds ?

The pleco is only 4 inches right now and i am saving him for a 55 gallon tank that i plan on setting up soon.... But the dwarf gourami does not haveany open wounds justhis fins but i put him in a 10 gallon tank after treating the water with 5 ml of api stress coat ...he wont eat and hes kinda floating around the top and not realy swiming that much is there any thing else i can do

55 won't be enough for the pleco either. Definitely return it for one that is more appropriate for your tank size.

Show tanks 125, 125, 90, 10, 5, 2.5

EThanks for the advice on the pleco ...maybe ill get a bigger tank than a 55 a 75 or mayne a 100 gallon .... I was planing to keep him with a tiger Oscar maybe 2 of them in a 100 gallon with the pleco and plenty of good filtration and lots of rocks some floating plants and driftwood..... Would that be big enough ?? .....my wifes mom and dad had two oscars and a pleco in a 75 gallon and had them for about 8 years the pleco was the last to die about a month after the last oscar died
