When you first get them more then likely they won't eat anything but live worms be it live bloodworms or blackworms just to name a couple. You can get them on frozen bloodworms later down the road but they will still need snails.

Well, that's a pain and the reason i didn't choose them for my tank. How did i forget that??

Oh well, good ol' google time :) I should make a general list and narrow it down, time consuming but whatevs

LoL I have a Dwarf puffer and I also have a live Blackworm culture going for him (well him and my Scarlet badis.). Its not as bad as you may think.

Though It's all about what you are comfortable doing and what fish you want to keep. Making a list and narrowing it down is a great idea as then you can figure out actually what fish you want and what their needs are.

My first fish was a guppy, fancy or not fancy tailed your choice they are very simple and in no time they will reproduce. If you do want them to sex, have 3 female and 1 male

Oh and also Neon tetras are great community fish, if you get more than 3 they start to school which is very pleasing to look at. Kuhli loaches are long snake like fish, they are very hardy, they love to play and swim around when with 2 or more of them.
