hmmm never thought of that.
"new on the market people roll up roll up $0.50 a baggie of poopie "

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Beautiful new tank set up Willow, never thought to use flowers in a tank b4 seeing yours it.

I can totally relate to taking a 3 year old to the LFS - have to say I sometimes need a bribe of chocolate to keep him on side lol.

I think cherry shrimp having the bottom to themselves would be real nice - cos my cherries are a little shy of their tank mates :( so I only see them occassionally.

Do you get the flowers in FS specially for tanks? I've never bought fake flowers b4 but I'm sure the garden centre will be full of them :) might have to make some additions to my tank!

hi
thanks
the funky blue/purple flower thingie in the front was bought from the actual fish
shop.the flowers and ferns were from the garden center,on the
silk plant section.
i find that they do like anything else get algae on them,so every now an then
i remove them and give them a sight scrub with a nail brush, and in the summer
once they are washed i leave them in the sun.
have to say if you want any duck weed that i have floating on the top of the water
send me a PM with your address and i'll happy to post you some.
:)

Hi willow - just did an image search on duck weed - what a idea for providing some cover from the tank light! Think the gouramis would love some - is it real or fake duck weed you've got?

Gorgeous tanks!! Want to fly to Boston to help with my next setup?

Great job.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
