figured that was a given, but fine. drain the tank, tape it off, spray paint the background black, replace white sand with black sand, refill, cycle, add school of neon tetras, add 10 cherry red shrimp, enjoy.

drain it down,good lord.............have you not heard
that i only go as far as parcel paper and children friendly black paint lol :)
thanks for the comments guys.
i've had a...........caotic...... few days,and wanted something to clear my head,so up went the
10 glln lol.
it's play sand,and it's running a little HOB which is hanging on the side and an
arcadia light,
twisted willow tree branch,with slate on top to try and get it water loged.
and a mini heater set to 79f.

that sounds perfect for some neon tetras and some cherry red shrimp.

that is, with the child safe black paint, painted on some parcel paper taped to the back.

nothing took my interest,however being pulled around by a three year old shouting
"c'mon nanny lets go see nemo" took my mind off making any decisions.

Willow- a question. What type ferts are you using? Is there anything mixed in with the white sand??

kymmie no ferts or co2,they just growing in the gravel.
the only thing that may get mixed in would be a little bit of plec poopies
