when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

lmao ok umm well yeah….don't think i'll bother doing that again…
explanation…
first pic is new emergency tank for angels..
second and third pic is the clown loaches.
interestingly enough although the tennis wood was removed from large tank,
there still seems to be a yellowing of the water….the lights then perhaps ?

tanks got nitrites and nitrates…no ammonia according to api liquid
snails on a race to the top of the tank, cores lethargic, another one sitting at the
top of the tank on a vine leaf, one clown loach Paper thin
other 6 loaches at present are MIA i can't see them.even put cucumber in
to tempt them out,all it attracted was snails
one serape tetra dead, one guppy dead(i've got them out as soon as seen)
nothing added to tank, only thing i have done is remove
some filter media for another tank….would that have created this ?????
mehhhh

Oh no! Willow!!! I'm so sad that you're having to deal with this. . . I hope everyone is okay in there. *worries*
If you removed too much media, it could cause a mini cycle. Perhaps because the wood was removed too (was that at around the same time?) If you're showing no ammonia, it shouldn't take too much time to re-stabilize. . . T___T

skinny clown loach has died
i think perhaps the filter media removal is the problem…
and this no notifications business is soooooooooooooo annoying

to date as far as i can see..
lost two rams, two guppys,a serape tetra, two bronze corys, one emaciated clown
loach.
nitrates still up,nitrites still up,ammonia zero
cut back feeding to next to nothing, which upsets me as the angels are begging !!
when i approach the tank to look for any more dead bodies…the corys floated,
and didn't half pong !!!
water change tomorrow.
i'm feeling sad.
